Home and School Association

The Home & School Association (HSA) is an integral part of the success of Holy Cross School. The HSA provides assistance to the school in many areas and helps support it through fundraising efforts and volunteerism.

The Home & School Association is a parent organization that has two key pillars, fundraising and community building.  As such, our parent volunteers are an integral part of the Holy Cross family and culture, and each parent volunteer is essential to the school’s current and future success.

Volunteering

  • As a small school community, Holy Cross School relies on parent volunteers in many ways.  In conjunction with our dedicated teachers and staff, parents are a much-needed resource both in and out of the classroom. Holy Cross School’s goal is to keep tuition affordable. To help with this, each family is asked to provide a minimum of 20 hours of service to the school per year.
  • Holy Cross School offers a variety of ways for parents to get involved.  Committing to be a parent volunteer will give you an opportunity to become better acquainted with your child’s classmates, parents, and the Holy Cross faculty and staff.  We hope that you will be able to take part in one or more of the many exciting events that we are offering this coming year and experience firsthand the pride you will feel in supporting Holy Cross School.
  • As parents ourselves, we understand the demands of daily life, and we welcome and appreciate any amount of time each family can give to the school, big or small. Every hour adds up, and the results can be amazing.
  • Each person who volunteers inside the school needs to have completed Protecting God’s Children.  Please see below for more information on this.
