Holy Cross School welcomes admission enquiries and applications from across our community, regardless of religious or ethnic backgrounds - we are very proud of the diverse make-up of our school which includes children of African, Asian, English, French, Irish, Spanish and Mexican backgrounds and heritage amongst many others.

ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS
General requirements for admission to Kindergarten through 8th Grade:
- Complete an application form
- Submit a Pastoral Agreement if Catholic and wishing to obtain a tuition subsidy from a Catholic community
- Parent(s) and student shall attend a personal interview with the Principal
- Submit birth certificate, health and immunization records
In addition to the general requirements, for admission into Grade 1 through Grade 5 (Primary and Lower Schools):
- Submit school records from the previous school attended
In addition to the general requirements, for admission into Grade 6 through Grade 8 (Middle School):
- Submit school records from the previous school attended
- Submit a letter of recommendation from past Principal or Teacher
PRIORITY
When space is not available for all students who wish to enroll at Holy Cross School during the registration period, but spaces become available at a later date the policy below will be followed:
- Families who have children currently enrolled at Holy Cross School are given first priority.
- Families who are registered members and active participants of Holy Cross or St. John’s Church are given next priority followed by families who are registered members and active participants of St. Bartholomew’s and St. Maximilian Kolbe Parishes.
- Beyond these specifications, students will be enrolled at the discretion of the administration in consideration of the academic and social welfare of the students.
